ALOHA WINDY CITY
In February, Chicago is a place where the sun doesn’t shine. It’s life-giving light is hidden behind blizzard clouds. And because there is no sun, there is no fun. Cooped up indoors, Chicagoans are prone to cabin fever and having S.A.D (seasonal affective disorder).
But Aulani, Disney's Hawaiian resort, came to town to say #AlohaWindyCity. We brought a mini paradise to the heart of this deserving city. Duplicating the healing rays of the sun, we placed happy lights (full spectrum lights that safely mimics sunlight) throughout the pop up experience to provide some sun and fun to winter-worn Chicagoans.
Teaser IG post to announce our arrival.
The event was a huge success and many Chicagoans had lots of fun tagging #AlohaWindyCity on Social Media.
