UCLA HEALTH

Many Angelenos aren't aware of the exceptional care and innovative legacy of UCLA Health. It was the first to identify AIDS cases, has developed 23 FDA-approved cancer treatments, and performed the first human bladder transplant. Despite these groundbreaking achievements, UCLA Health was losing market share in Los Angeles to competitors like Cedars.

UCLA Health needed a brand, and I was tasked with building one. A brand that would allow it to stand out in the highly competitive health care landscape. A story that honors its legacy at a time when academia, science, and research are being questioned, challenged, and defunded. A shared mission that can rally 40,000 employees around a powerful core purpose. A vision that moves the organization forward as one.

Below is a small sample of 500+ deliverables for the brand launch.

Breakthroughs happen when we dare to believe. It’s when the unimaginable becomes the attainable. Treatments are discovered, and lives are transformed. Like developing the first gene therapy cure for “bubble baby” disease, giving young Seersha a life-changing victory. As we rise, so do the possibilities for everyone who needs a win.
